A Gift Overlooked

by White Feather

What comes to mind when you think of radical departure? How intensely can you implement change? How radically can you depart from your norm? How extreme can you get?

How much can you open up to change? How much can you embrace life-changing directions? How willing are you to depart from what seems like the course of your life? How bold are you? How daring are you? How exuberant are you in venturing onto new paths?

Do you take change in little installments? Or do you open yourself up to monumental change? How radical are you inclined to get?

Are you willing to give up the most ingrained habits? Are you willing to give up the walls of security you've built up over decades of your life? Are you willing to put your life on the line? Are you willing to change so radically that your life no longer even resembles what it used to be? Are you willing to go into unchartered territory? Are you willing to be a pioneer? Are you willing to walk through jungles that have never been touched by humans? Are you willing to bring cosmic ideas to fruition here on earth? Are you willing to see the endless field of possibilities which each of us can draw from?

Are you willing to change your routine? Are you willing to see things you've never seen before? Are you willing to be what you've never been before? Are you willing to go beyond everything you've ever touched in hundreds of lifetimes? Are you willing to step into the universe? Are you willing to be and to use the power of the universe? Are you willing to be a god? Are you willing to take your imagination into the realm of divine creation? Are you willing to turn love into your reality? Are you willing to realize the full potential of All That Is? As a divine being, are you willing to bring All That Is into this earthly dimension? Are you willing to love that strongly?

Each of us are a conduit for All That Is. Each of us are an expression of All That Is. All of us hold the entirety of All That Is. Every time we expand our awareness we own an even bigger part of All That Is. Every time we express a part of All That Is we claim an even bigger part of our divinity.

What are we waiting for? What are we hiding from? Why do we hesitate? Why do we hold back one iota of our love?

There is an infinite amount of unconditional love pouring through us at any given moment. Every problem that we see ourselves as having is basically our blockages to that unconditional love flowing through us. We don't have to do anything to create that love flowing through us. We only have to surrender to it and allow it free passage through us. We struggle to accomplish things but we can accomplish much more if only we were to surrender. It's infinitely easier, yet it seems infinitely harder. It's all a matter of perspective. How we look at it determines how much struggle we put forth. Every ounce of struggle keeps hidden that true power we all have. But we have been taught and conditioned to struggle. Until we break those habits we will never realize the incredible glory of true loving and we will never see how that true loving changes everything.

Surrender is so easy yet we make it the very hardest thing in the world. It is the easiest thing in the world yet it is the one thing we cannot do. We fight it with all our might. We disagree with it with all our best words. We refuse to even consider it because we've been taught that to do so is to lose. And we've been taught to always strive to win. Winning and losing is a dichotomy that is like a brick wall that keeps us from stepping into the joy that is our birthright. Surrender is the key to everything we've ever wanted yet we've turned it into the one thing we'll never even consider. We've turned the greatest gift into the greatest obstacle. We've beem given the greatest gift but we won't even unwrap it. Instead we bitch and moan and complain--and all while the greatest gift is sitting right before us.
